The procedure is performed under general, regional, or local anaesthesia. Post-operatively, Sitz baths are recommended. No penetrative intercourse for 6 weeks. The patient can resume official duties immediately after the procedure. Downtime is minimal, with most patients returning to work the same day or the following day. Scar tissue overlying the clitoral body is carefully excised. The clitoral body is identified and freed from surrounding adhesions, preserving the dorsal neurovascular bundle to maximise sensory restoration.

Reconstruction & Closure

The glans and clitoral hood are reconstructed using local tissue. Fine absorbable sutures are used throughout. Post-operative care instructions and ongoing support resources are provided at discharge.
